Who I Am

I’ve always been someone who pays attention.

As the oldest of two, I naturally stepped into responsibility early on. It wasn’t something that felt forced; it just felt instinctive. I like knowing what’s going on, making sure things are handled, and thinking a few steps ahead. I’ve always been the one who prepares, who plans, who quietly makes sure everything runs the way it should.

Being an introvert shaped that, too. I’m not the loudest person in the room, but I’m often the one observing it. I notice details, the tone of a conversation, the energy of a space, the small things that can shift an entire experience. I’ve learned that leadership doesn’t always look like volume. Sometimes it looks like intention.

My love for planning started early. In middle school, I volunteered to help organize school dances, not because I had to, but because I genuinely loved it. I loved choosing themes, thinking through decorations, imagining how the night would unfold. That excitement followed me into high school and college, where planning and coordinating became something I naturally gravitated toward. I start with a vision board, big ideas, aesthetics, feeling, and then I build the checklist. Dream first, execute second. That balance feels like me.

Outside of structured spaces, I’m grounded by quiet rituals. I love rainy fall weather, small gatherings with close friends, afternoons spent reading, crocheting something from scratch, or rewatching Disney films for the comfort, nostalgia, magic, and storytelling all at once. I recharge in calm spaces. I value depth over noise.

But I’m also energized by movement. I love the feeling of a concert crowd, the rush of a fast-paced environment, and the collaborative buzz of people working toward something exciting. There’s something powerful about being part of a shared experience, especially when you’ve helped shape it behind the scenes.

At my core, I’m someone who finds balance between vision and structure, calm and chaos, thoughtfulness and ambition. I like knowing there’s a plan, but I also love when creativity takes over. I care deeply about how people feel in the spaces they’re in.

And naturally, that instinct, to observe, to plan, to create experiences that bring people together, is what led me toward communications, public relations and event coordination. Not as a sudden decision, but as something that has quietly been part of me all along.
